The initial situation: untapped potential

Our initial assessment is always free of charge and non-binding. Before the project begins, you will receive an initial overview of the potential revenue.

How is the examination conducted?

Every day, we review the cases coded the previous day. To do this, we automatically derive the §21 data record from the previous day via MetaKIS.

We release unremarkable cases directly in the system for invoicing. This means that there are no gaps in the billing chain and your local staff do not have any additional work.

Cases are released early in the morning. We ensure that all cases are available for invoicing by 8:30 a.m.

We evaluate conspicuous cases within 24 hours. You will receive feedback as to whether the theoretical anomalies are also evident in practice or whether the case has been coded correctly despite the mathematical anomaly.

MD(K) Management

The initial situation: revenue risk is increasing

There is the option of ensuring that the entire MD(K) processing is carried out by us through the audits resulting from the case-related revision.

MD(K) structural testing

According to §275d SGB, only audited complex treatments may be billed. Positive certification by the MD(K) is essential for future billing. Hospitals are therefore strongly advised to evaluate the complex codes relevant to their audit in good time. We are happy to support you in the preparations and in the process of a successful MD(K) structural audit.
